Hello all,
For the last few weeks DSCardWorld has not been accepting orders as we have been doing a stock-take as well as taking a look at some of our cards for potential replacement coming up to Spring. We are proud to announce that we are now back open for business with a couple [...]
I bet your grandmother isn’t as cool as this. Kathleen Connell, called Kit by her friends, just celebrated her 100th birthday. Well, congratulations on that. Instead of getting some angry, thredbare cat as a companion, she keeps he trusty red DS Lite by her side. She is tapping away on her DS all…day…long. She owns [...]
For all current cards on the market, many will load on the new 3DS console, but will only support play of backed up NDS/DSi games. Up to now, 3DS support was expected eventually, but no concrete evidence of progress has been reported. That changed earlier this week as a new development team announced that they [...]
The biggest news in Nintendo Handheld is without a doubt the large, pre-mature price drop of the 3DS. The reasons and speculations surrounding the fate of the Nintendo 3DS are explored elsewhere. We’re here to discuss the placation gifts Nintendo has created for those of us who purchased the 3DS at “full price.” Now, we [...]
Update 29/Jun/11: The postal strike is now over. However, there are large backlogs of post to Canada, and lots of post sent now will either be severely delayed or lost. The R4i SDHC is experiencing a shortage in stock currently. It might be a 1-2 week delay until we are able to get new cards in. The R4i SDHC team is reworking the design in order to carry DSi functionality onto the new Nintendo 3DS. We will thoroughly test the new cards, but may be [...]
Hello, quick note, as of today there was a series of updates from Nintendo from 1.4.1 to 1.4.2 for DSi systems that effectively blocks ALL of our cards. We’ve yet to confirm all the details, and this storm of updates might not be over yet. For now do NOT perform any updates, or use the [...]
Traditional 2D platformers have made a comeback of late, most noticably in the Super Mario Brothers series recently released on the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DSi. Many older style games are being given new facelifts, and the public are enjoying the return to the old school consoles. Rather than tirelessly pump out sequels, Nintendo has [...]
E3 2010 is still under way but Nintendo has already had their keynote showing off the upcoming games on the Wii, and their latest iteration of the DS console, the Nintendo 3DS. Yes, it’s finally ready to show! There are still a few glaring omissions like the actual hardware of the screen, and the processor, [...]
New Look Same Great Taste!
The world’s most popular R4 card, the R4 SDHC, is getting a face lift. First available alongside the former version, the R4 SDHC v 2.10T is now the flagship product of the R4 SDHC team. The familiar black box is now officially discontinued, and no longer in [...]
